In February, Brian Ober and Ben Duval came
down and put on a one day training session on
how to lead cell groups. They run a young
adult cell group ministry in the Chicago area.
This has kicked off our cell groups down here
in Chattanooga. We have three cell groups
that have started this month. They are in
Hixson, Ooltewah, and Cleveland. Cell
groups are an introductory ministry for those
that are not comfortable in a church setting.
They are a great way for new people to find
God. Everything is always about outreach and
finding the lost. Cell groups are just one way
you can do that. Always remember outreach
starts small and gets bigger. You rarely hit a
homerun your first at bat. So do not be overly
concerned with amount of people, just keep
inviting and good things will happen. God has
called us to share his son with whoever we
come in contact with. So be bold and invite
people to come and know Jesus.
